Oh I'm not saying I don't like them, it's actually quite interesting to find these quirky coffee shops hidden in back alleys. All of the main street ones are usually large franchises that carry the same, stale design and feel (and bad coffee). The best coffee I've had in Korea comes from the small, individually owned places where the walls and the people have character. Though I can't say I've tried the coffee here yet, it's still a nice place to stop by and stare at.
